CHAPTER 14 – Performance Evaluation: Of particular importance is the need to compare treatment technologies, and to evaluate the effectiveness of design criteria. To be useful, the data must be gathered following a sound technical protocol, in a manner that allows comparison with other facilities. Presented in Chapter 14 are the elements of a monitoring program.
