CHAPTER 4 – Climate: Climate affects all unit processes in varying degree. The book focuses on temperate climates, with consideration presented for three other climatic regimes: cold, semi-arid, and semi-tropical. These aspects are introduced in Chapter 4 and expanded in several chapters.
